Courtesan Mikey (wip)

Mikey is lovely. I know you state that she shading hasn't happened yet, I can see that by some of the way the colors melt into each other. But sill this is dynamic and striking in your brilliant use of color and textures.
The flower arrangement and made are remarkably detailed and are a gorgeous contrast and compliment to Mikey's coloration. I love how the kimono blends into the splash of color throughout the work. Mikey's coloration is remarkable, the pebbling and freckling show a great degree of textures, though the grayness of his plastron pulls a little on the eye, it seems to be a start contrast to the richness of the colors surrounding it. Still a lovely piece of work and I can't wait to see the finished shaded article.
